On Wednesday 18^th September, the new Year 10 GCSE Art and Design students went on an inspirational trip to the Hannah Peschar Sculpture Garden in Ockley, Dorking. The group took part in a Photography challenge to practice Primary Research, an essential element omaterialsf their upcoming GCSE coursework projects. We enjoyed following the sculpture trail and identifying the that the sculptures were made out of, capturing our favourites with our smart phones. After lunch, we experimented with light sensitive sun paper in the sunshine using foraged natural items such as fern leaves, seed pods and stones. All of the students' primary research photographs and sun paper prints will become a starting point in their next lesson back at school.
