Options become available for specialization in year 10. These choices are made at the beginning of the summer term in year 9 and  students are provided with an options booklet, as well as visits to Skillway and talks from the current year 11 students about their experiences.

Where possible, the school tries to accommodate choices.  These choices are subject to suitable numbers of applicants, in order to make them viable.
