Student council and Student Voice
Our School Council represents the views of all our students and gives them an opportunity to make their voices heard and feel part of the whole school community.
School council meetings are held approximately once per half term. The meetings are led by the School Council Prefect with support from a speech and language therapist.
At the beginning of each academic year, each tutor group decides who their school council rep and deputy will be. The rep (or deputy) attends the meetings, shares their class’ views and feeds back to their class afterwards.
The school council discusses issues that are important to the students and their life at school.
The school council have run and organised many fund raising events including MUFTI days, fun afternoons and the Christmas Door competition
