At Knowl Hill School, we recognize that technology is developing rapidly; it impacts almost every aspect of our children’s lives. For this reason, our aim is for pupils Knowl Hill to become confident, creative and independent learners and users of technology.

We will begin in lower school by exploring Microsoft 365. Each year group will have a combination of units including programming, data and information, use of media and understanding systems and networks. In addition, year groups have weekly touch-typing lessons and are taught how to utilise a variety of assistive technology such as reading pens, speech-to-text software and text-to-speech software

ICT is offered as an option at Key stage 4.
