Lizzie Waterworth, The Horrid Henry voice actor and children's author came to visit. Lizzie spoke at our whole school assembly to talk about her career and share some of her tips on how to speak with confidence, which are included in her book How to Talk so People will Listen! (And sound confident even when you’re not!). She then kindly met and signed books for some of our students. Lizzie then joined the Lower School for a workshop that involved putting her tips into action. Students created a new cartoon character and then pitched their ideas to Lizzie and the rest of the Lower School! Pupils came up with some super creations and each student bravely stood in front of everyone else and contributed to their pitch. A big thank you goes out to Lizzie, for sharing her practical tips with us in such an entertaining, inspirational and useful way.
