Knowl Hill School: Where Learning and Life Skills Flourish

At Knowl Hill School, we believe that every child deserves a chance to reach their full potential, regardless of learning needs. We are a specialist school dedicated to supporting students aged 10-16 with Dyslexia, and other co-occurring needs such as Developmental Language Disorder (DLD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

We are more than just an educational institution; Knowl Hill is a nurturing environment where students find the support and resources they need to thrive academically, personally, and emotionally. Our commitment extends beyond the classroom walls, as we recognise the crucial role of life skills in fostering well-rounded individuals.

Our approach focuses on:

  • Tailored education: We create individualised learning plans that address each student's unique strengths and challenges.
  • Small class sizes: Our intimate environment allows for personalised attention and fosters strong relationships between students and staff.
  • Expert staff: Our dedicated team is comprised of highly qualified and experienced professionals specialising in supporting students with learning differences. This includes onsite therapy and counselling.
  • Holistic development: Alongside academic instruction, we integrate programs that equip students with essential life skills like communication, self-advocacy, and social-emotional learning.

By focusing on both knowledge and life skills, Knowl Hill School empowers our students to:

  • Develop strong academic foundations.
  • Gain confidence in their abilities.
  • Navigate challenges with resilience and self-awareness.
  • Embrace their unique talents and personalities.
  • Prepare for a bright and fulfilling future.

We invite you to learn more about Knowl Hill School and explore how we can support your child's journey towards success. Please do not hesitate to contact us for further information or to schedule a visit.

Sincerely,

Dr Kas Govender
