- Manage the full examination cycle, from entries through to results and post-results services
- Liaise with awarding bodies, staff, students and external invigilators
- Ensure compliance with JCQ and awarding body regulations at all times
- Organise exam timetables, rooming and access arrangements
- Secure handling of examination papers and confidential materials
- Manage examination day procedures and respond effectively to issues as they arise
- Maintain accurate records and examination data
- Proven experience as an Exams Officer (essential)
- Strong working knowledge of GCSE, Functional Skills and BTEC examinations
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills with strong attention to detail
- Calm, flexible and able to work under pressure, particularly during peak exam periods
- Confident communicator with good IT skills and experience of exams management systems
This role is 20 hours per week, however flexibility in working hours is essential. Due to the nature of the examinations cycle, hours may increase during busy periods, with quieter periods at other times of the academic year.
