Knowl Hill School is an independent specialist school for students with specific learning disabilities. The pupils often have speech, language, sensory and occupational therapy needs.
The School provides a differentiated mainstream curriculum to students in the 7-16 age range.

Highly motivated, enthusiastic and adaptable Paediatric Occupational Therapist is required to work in a well supported and highly specialist team of therapists.
Experience with children who have sensory processing difficulties would be an advantage.
HCPC registration and RCOT membership are essential.
Part time English Teacher required KS3-4
For January 2018
Knowl Hill is a small independent special school with around 50 pupils aged from 7 – 16 with specific learning difficulties, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Dyscalculia and associated needs e.g. ASD and ADHD/ADD. Onsite OTs and SaLTs work closely with teaching staff. The school also has a small unit for pupils with SLI (Specific Language Impairment)/DLD.
We are looking for a teacher with not only the right qualifications, but also the right qualities, such as warmth and patience.
Knowl Hill is a very rewarding school to work in, with a strong supportive team providing a calm, safe and nurturing environment. Class sizes are very small. We offer the national curriculum and our pupils go on to take both GCSEs and vocational, e.g. BTEC, qualifications and usually progress to mainstream college or sixth form.
Salary is dependent on experience and qualifications, but generally in line with teacher scales.
