We have been given a fantastic opportunity, starting in September, to work with Microsoft via the British Dyslexia Association, on their OneNote product. They have received positive feedback in the US from using this software with Dyslexic children and are now keen to build some evidence for the UK market. Before they carry out a full research study, they are going to use Knowl Hill School for a preliminary trial with the children who are Dyslexic or have literacy difficulties.
This is a tremendous privilege and, having seen the software demonstrated at a recent education festival, we are excited about the possible benefit to our pupils.
